Lorraine Butler

Born in Melbourne, Australia, Lorraine has been in professional show business for 50 years, using her singing, acting, ballet, acrobatics, tap and accordion in many shows such as HMS PINAFORE, HOW TO SUCCEED IN BUSINESS WITHOUT REALLY TRYING, LOCK UP YOUR DAUGHTERS, OLIVER, CAMELOT, MAN OF LA MANCHA,A TAILORED AFFAIR, PERMIT,last episode of 21 JUMP STREET, dancing the Cha Cha with Ted Danson in  the movie COUSINS, 11 summers at Fort Steele historic park, 5 summers in Dawson City, Yukon, producing and  performing in the casino shows as DIAMOND TOOTH GERTIE, CLASSICAL RECITALS FOR EXPO ‘86, Vancouver restaurants and hotels,  SILVERWOOD THEME PARK, Idaho,  THREE VALLEY GAP RESORT/THEATRE in Relelstoke B.C. and numerous other performances.

Since moving to Cranbrook in 2002 she has produced shows for Cranbrook Community Theatre and co-directed THE FOURSOME  also for C.C.T at the Key City Theatre. Four years ago she started teaching voice & performance which she really enjoys as there are so many wonderfully talented people in Cranbrook. As the unoffficial hostess she performs at functions  at the Canadian Museum of Rail Travel  and at munerous other venues.
