Laurel Ralston, BMus, MA–Trumpet (all levels), Flute (all levels), Brass (beginner to intermediate)

Laurel Ralston has performed with a number of professional and semi-professional orchestras including the National Arts Centre Orchestra and the Ottawa Chamber Orchestra. She is currently second trumpet with the Symphony of the Kootenays. As a chamber musician, she has performed for Canadian and foreign dignitaries, and has won multiple first prizes at the Ottawa Kiwanis Music Festival. Laurel holds a Bachelor of Music from the University of Ottawa, a Master of Arts from the University of Alberta, and received additional training at the Domaine Forget Music and Dance Academy. Her teachers include Robert Oades, Karen Donnelly, and Peggy Raths. Laurel conducts the Kimberley Community Band and co-conducts the Kimberley Community Choir.
